As a community of surgeons, we have emerged stronger and wiser post the pandemic. Our journey towards academic excellence and clinical progress must continue.
It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to Ahmedabad for the IACTS Technocollege CME 2023 to be held from April 28th to 30th.
It is my firm belief that we need to be better equipped surgically, be aware of changing scenarios within our practice, and plan for the future - both as individuals and as a society. To this end, this year’s IACTS Technocollege CME has been designed to prepare a future-ready cardiac surgeon. We shall not only discuss scientific advances and our practice but also solutions to the various challenges we face. We have included a Back-to-School program in conjunction with the U. N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre as part of the pre-conference workshop. In a move to provide equal learning opportunities, apart from free registration, we have made available travel and accommodation concessions to out-of-town residents. Similar support is also on offer to our member surgeons attending the event.
It is my humble request to all the heads of institutions to encourage your students to attend this CME. I welcome you once again to the remarkable city of Ahmedabad for an insightful conference like never before.

It is an honour to invite you to the upcoming IACTS TECHNOCOLLEGE CME 2023 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat on the 28th, 29th, and 30th of April 2023.
This year’s theme is “Making Cardiac Surgeons Future-Ready”. Now, more than ever, the adoption of newer technologies in our surgical practice as well as in all other realms of our professional and personal lives has become imperative.
A holistic approach has been assumed in this CME to consider not just our clinical practice, but also other facets that impact our performance as cardiac surgeons. The Scientific Program includes a wide range of discussions with a focus on the road ahead. The program comprises sessions on the deliberations for the much-needed curriculum changes, panel discussions on government policies, lessons in entrepreneurship, managing finances (both personal and organizational), and much more. The focus is on becoming a complete cardiac surgeon. It is also on how, together, we can be the voice for change in the coming decade. We have formulated a Back-to-School Day filled with learning for our students and young surgeons on Friday, 28th of April 2023, at the coveted U.N. Mehta Cardiology & Research Centre.
We have attempted to remove economic barriers and create equal opportunity for residents to make the most of this CME by offering subsidized stay & air travel. In a first at IACTS CMEs. with the support of our industry partners, we are working to extend this offer to all the conference delegates.
If you are a senior faculty member, I urge you to send your students to participate in this scientific festival.
